The Buntingford Railway & Local History Society

The Society was formed in January 1995 to promote interest in the local history of Buntingford and the surrounding area and, in particular, the Buntingford Branch – known affectionately as the 'Bunt’ to those who worked and travelled on the line.

Help save Bridge 2062!

National Highways plans to infill beneath Bridge 2062 at Braughing station, permanently destroying one of the last surviving structures of the former Buntingford branch line. Please sign the petition and help us make the case for its preservation.
